Jayson Tatum update, Khris Middleton, more

The Boston Celtics’ schedule is busy this week and their game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night is their second to last game on the schedule. Boston just rattled off two straight wins, one against the Miami Heat on Monday and one on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. However, they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Bucks have turned things around after their ugly start to the season. Their seven-game winning streak was recently broken by the Atlanta Hawks, but the Bucks’ recent success has helped them climb the standings and reach fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

Here are the injury reports for the Celtics’ game against the Bucks on Friday, December 6th.

The Celtics have been hit by a bit of an injury scare lately with several of their top stars sidelined.

Jayson Tatum was on the injury report again before Friday’s game against the Bucks. He still struggles with right patella tendinopathy. However, Tatum doesn’t like to sit out games and will be available for a game against Milwaukee.

Boston’s top players were also on the injury report Friday. Al Horford was listed as questionable with a sprained big toe Kristaps Porzingis is still undergoing injury therapy. Horford will be ready to play, but Porzingis will not.

It seems more than likely that neither of the bigs will appear in either of the Celtics’ games Friday through Saturday against the Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies. So expect Horford against Milwaukee and Porzingis against Memphis.

Chris Middleton is expected to make his season debut on Friday against the Celtics. He had double ankle surgery this summer and has yet to play a game this year.

Additionally, Giannis Antetokounpmo The injury report lists it as probable due to a knee problem. Marjon Beauchamp Playing with a neck injury is questionable.
