JB Hunt Celebrates Eleventh Year of Transporting “Wreaths Across America”

LOWELL, Arkansas – JB Hunt Transport Services, a major provider of supply chain solutions in North America, continues its participation in Wreaths Across America for the eleventh consecutive year.

“Wreaths Across America is a special occasion to recognize and honor service members who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms,” said David Keefauver, executive vice president of people at JB Hunt. “This year marks a special milestone for JB Hunt: More than 500 of the company’s drivers have now taken part in the campaign over the 11 years of our involvement, demonstrating our employees’ commitment to ensuring that no fallen veteran is forgotten during the holidays becomes.”

This year, 74 JB Hunt drivers, all either veterans or with a direct connection to a veteran, will transport more than 356,000 wreaths to national cemeteries across the country. On December 14, JB Hunt volunteers will join thousands across the country in wreath-laying events for Wreaths Across America Day.

The company will also hold a ceremony for employees on December 13 at its corporate headquarters to celebrate annual support and reflect, remember, honor and teach the nonprofit’s mission.

JB Hunt will carry 56 loads of wreaths this year, surpassing the record set in 2023, including nearly 50 intermodal loads transported in partnership with rail providers BNSF Railway and Norfolk Southern.

In memory of this year’s participation, JB Hunt. has designed a bespoke wrap for 11 JB Hunt tractors and two JB Hunt trailers with the theme “Your courage inspires us”.

JB Hunt will deliver wreaths directly to 13 national cemeteries: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dayton National Cemetery, Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Georgia National Cemetery, Lexington National Cemetery, Marietta National Cemetery, National Memorial Arizona Cemetery, Riverside National Cemetery, Salisbury National Cemetery, San Joquin Valley National Cemetery and Tahoma National Cemetery.
