Joe Burrow’s house was broken into while he was at the MNF game

While Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was playing on Monday Night Football, police were called to his Anderson Township home for a report of a burglary.

According to an incident report, this happened around 9:14 p.m. on Monday. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the break-in but did not provide further details.

A 911 caller said her daughter lived in the home.

“Someone is trying to break into the house. My daughter is here. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She stays there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what to do, whether to hide or go outside,” the caller said. “She said someone was in the house.”

That woman’s daughter then called 911.

“Someone broke into my house,” she said. “It’s completely messed up.”

The woman can also be heard talking to a man in the home, who a dispatcher confirmed was in charge of security at the home.

According to the incident report, the 22-year-old woman, who said she was employed by Burrow, told officers that when she arrived at the residence, she saw a broken bedroom window and searched the room.

According to the report, officials said Burrow was out of town and could not provide details about what was taken from the home, but the woman who called 911 was unable to provide a non-detailed list of items that might be missing.

Radio traffic from that night indicates that an officer was present at his home that night.

The sheriff’s criminal investigation division is investigating the incident.

This comes after the NFL issued a security alert to teams and the players’ union following recent break-ins at the homes of Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

In a memo obtained by The Associated Press, the league said the homes of professional athletes in various sports have become “increasingly targeted by organized and skilled groups.”

At this time, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department cannot say whether investigators believe this could be related to any of the other NFL burglaries.
