Joe Flacco has an opportunity to help the Browns once again

The Cleveland Browns got a huge boost through the air last season with veteran quarterback Joe Flacco, and now he has the opportunity to help them once again.

It was announced today that the Indianapolis Colts have sidelined quarterback Anthony Richardson due to a back and foot injury. This means Flacco will get the start for the Colts against the New York Giants.

How can he help the Browns?

By setting up a dud and allowing the New York Giants, who currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, to sneak a win. It’s a long shot, but crazier things have happened in the NFL.

The Colts are still in the hunt for a wild card spot and need some help from the Cincinnati Bengals today to beat the Denver Broncos. If so, then Flacco has a chance to lead them to the playoffs.

However, for the Browns’ best interest, Flacco has a chance to help them move up the draft board.
