Josh Allen’s ex claims she was hacked after athlete’s ‘Brain Dead’ post

Josh Allenis the ex-girlfriend Brittany Williams claimed that her Instagram account was hacked after some shady comments appeared on her page.

“My accounts were hacked multiple times tonight,” Williams, 28, claimed on her Instagram Story on Friday, November 29, according to multiple media outlets. “I’m trying to solve it. If anyone has any tips, please let me know 🙏🏻🥹.”

Williams’ response comes after she called Allen, 28, a “brain-dead CTE athlete” in her report after it was revealed he had gotten engaged Hailee Steinfeld. According to screenshots shared on social media, Williams allegedly responded to a fan’s question: “Haven’t you found the next professional athlete yet?”

The controversial answer was: “Luckily my friend owns a team and doesn’t play for one. 🙏🏻 don’t have to be around another brain dead CTE athlete.” (CTE, also known as chronic traumatic encephalopathy, is a brain disease likely caused by repeated head injuries.)

The post has since been deleted.

Allen and Williams were childhood friends before striking up a romance in 2017. The couple separated in 2023. That same year, the Buffalo Bills quarterback began dating Steinfeld. For her part, Williams hasn’t revealed any details about her new relationship.

While Allen and 27-year-old Steinfeld kept their romance out of the spotlight from the start, they gave fans a glimpse into their next steps. On Friday, Steinfeld and Allen announced that they got engaged in early November.

“♾️11•22•24 ♾️,” the couple captioned a photo of their romantic seaside marriage scene.

As Allen got down on one knee, the actress leaned down to hug him, and the duo stood in front of a floral arch with candles scattered around it. The proposal came during Allen’s bye week.

When he returned to the field to face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, December 1, Allen shared a few additional details about the couple’s news. Allen told reporters that Steinfeld was “very” surprised by the romantic gesture and noted that they are “still working on wedding plans.”

Steinfeld, for her part, gushed about spending Thanksgiving with her loved ones in her Beau Society newsletter.

“Okay, time to get back to my family time and post-Thanksgiving food coma (stuffing gets me every year),” she wrote. “But let me know if you grab a hoodie. I’m so happy for you and looking forward to seeing more Beau in the world!”
