Justin Timberlake tries to dance, dance, dance to make up for a below-the-belt wardrobe malfunction

Justin Timberlake’s world tour produced a moment that fans probably won’t forget tomorrow.

Things went south at the “SexyBack” singer’s Thursday concert in Nashville as he performed his final performance, “Mirrors,” according to PageSix. During the number, fans’ attention wandered as Timberlake went from swaying to the popular tune to adjusting his shirt, according to footage that has since gone viral on TikTok.

The culprit for the “NSync” alum’s awkward fidgeting was apparently a stage belt that was too tight in an inappropriate – and all too visible – place.

A representative for Timberlake did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for comment Tuesday.

“The way my jaw dropped. “Honey, NO ONE TOLD HIM during rehearsals?” one user commented on the viral TikTok.

Others responded with punchlines that drew on Timberlake’s previous appearances in the pop culture spotlight, including the 2004 incident that gave rise to the term “wardrobe malfunction.”

During this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, Timberlake exposed Janet Jackson’s chest when he ripped off part of her costume during their duet “Rock Your Body.” The couple has since put the then highly scandalous (and even legal) incident behind them.

According to the artist’s website, Timberlake’s “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” continues into 2025. The finale is currently scheduled for July 2025 at Lollapalooza. Remaining stops include three shows in California in January.
