Kate Moss' first Zara collection is finally here - check out the best pieces to buy before they sell out

Kate Moss put her designer hat back on for her debut Zara collection – and the Glastonbury Ready capsule is finally available online.

For the fall/winter “party capsule” collection, the 50-year-old supermodel collaborated with longtime stylist Katy England to design the collection with the Spanish fast-fashion label. Priced between $36 and $999, the 38-piece collaboration pays homage to Moss’ disco-meets-rock ‘n’ roll boho wardrobe as well as her own fashion heroes, including ’70s icons Charlotte Rampling and Lauren Hutton, Led Zeppelin and Studio 54 release. Moss’ stylish touches can be seen in 1930s-style silk dresses, romantic pintuck blouses with jeweled buttons and A-line pleated skirts, alongside beaded Studio 54-style minidresses, breezy floral shawl tops, snake-print leather shorts, faux leather jackets and underpants in leopard print, leather heeled sandals and more.

Other chic ’70s silhouettes range from belted palazzo jumpsuits and lace-up velvet trousers to sparkling minidresses and metallic jacquard jackets. The collection is rounded off with shoes and accessories such as animal print ballet flats, black ankle boots, rhinestone bags, snake hoop earrings and belts, maxi stone rings and other statement pieces.

“The collection is sexy and fun. It’s rock and roll, but in a smooth and elegant way, with chic and luxurious fabrics,” Moss said in a statement.

England added: “Kate has always been known for her iconic evening looks, which became the focus of this collection: clothing that everyone can have fun in.”

To bring the collection to life, Moss commissioned his long-time collaborators, photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, to photograph the dreamy campaign and lookbook in London.

The Kate Moss x Zara capsule arrives 17 years after the British model’s hugely successful Topshop collaboration, which sold out instantly upon its debut in 2007. (This editor particularly remembers the black sequined silk dresses and beaded little black dresses, similar to those at the new Zara. Although the final Topshop collection was released in 2014, many pieces can still be found on eBay.
