Kendrick Lamar is “Not Like Us.”

In fact, it is full of surprises.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper released several dissident tracks aimed at Drake earlier this year, released his new album “GNX” in November, and just announced he’s heading on the Grand National Tour with SZA next year.

From April through June, the co-headliners will perform their catalog of hits at stadiums across North America.

Midway through the run, they are scheduled to play two consecutive nights at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Thursday, May 8, and Sunday, May 9.

Before the nationwide trip, Lamar is scheduled to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans, LA on Sunday, February 9th. At this point, we don’t know who will be taking the stage with him, but we’re betting SZA will be making an appearance.

“Rap music is still the most influential genre to this day,” the “Swimming Pools” rapper said after being announced as a halftime act in September. “And I will be there to remind the world why. You found the right thing.”

SZA also has a non-tour date planned. She will showcase her talents at an iHeartRadio Jingle Ball show on Friday, December 6th at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California alongside Tate McRae, Meghan Trainor, Kane Brown and more.

Kendrick Lamar new music

On November 22nd, Lamar shocked the world with his previously unannounced sixth studio album, GNX.

Consisting of 12 tracks, the talented lyricist delivers his trademark quick rhymes over sparse drum beats and samples that are almost impossible to get out of your head.

Personally, our favorite tracks here are the impressively minimalist rapper’s delight “Waccid Out Murals”, the Latin “Reincarnated” and the lively party starter “Tv Off” featuring Lefty Gunplay.

Also stick around until the end. Kendrick teams up with SZA for the moody, sensitive duet “Gloria.” We can’t wait to hear it live.

SZA new music

SZA’s 23-song 2022 album “SOS” has proven to be a hit with critics and fans.

Rolling Stone said in a four-star review that the record “delivers sharp barbs and juicy revelations.”

“SZA’s long, ambitious and luxurious new album cements her position as a generational talent,” enthuses Pitchfork. They summed up that feeling by calling her “otherworldly, but maybe you know someone who’s a little like her.”

If you want to brush up on your recording before watching it live, you can stream “SOS” here.

Huge stars on tour 2024-25

While it’ll be hard to top Kendrick and SZA’s upcoming performance in terms of sheer star power and scale, we’re just as excited to see a number of big names perform live over the next few months.

Here are just five we’re dying to see in the near future.

• Tyler, the Creator

• Denzel Curry

• Mary J. Blige

• Trey Songz with Omarion and Bow Wow

• Rod shaft
