Kim Kardashian “Santa Baby” Music Video Travis Barker

Kim Kardashian dropped an early Christmas present with a “Santa Baby” cover produced by her brother-in-law Travis Barker and a video edit directed by her favorite collaborator Nadia Lee Cohen.

For most of the video, Kim crawls around a modest retro house wearing a blonde wig and little more than a nude Skims set. Their cover of the Christmas song plays quietly in the background as glitch interrupts the lo-fi video, which appears to have been shot on an old digital camera.

The house is full of absurd vignettes played by unknown characters, including men arguing, a catatonic woman trimming a Christmas tree, a group playing Twister in the nude, and a nativity scene with a Mother Mary and a live donkey. The highlight of the video comes at the end with a surprise appearance by Macaulay Culkin, known for his role in the classic Christmas movie Home alone.

Nadia Lee Cohen’s aesthetic features heavily in the creative direction and is characterized by themes of modern banality, Americana and unsettling nostalgia. The artist regularly collaborates with Kim and often directs the visuals of Skims campaigns as well as the celebrity and businesswoman’s magazine features.
