Kirk Herbstreit is convicted of misidentifying 49ers star Trent Williams as a “false black man.”

Kirk Herbstreit found himself in the crosshairs of angry social media users on Thursday night … after he incorrectly identified the injured 49ers star Trent Williams Live on air.

The embarrassing gaffe occurred in the first quarter of San Francisco’s game against the Rams…as Herbstreit and play-by-play man Al Michaels broke down the Niners’ offensive line problems on Thursday Night Football.

The cameras showed a close-up of a member of the SF exercise group Nesta Jade Silvera … but Herbstreit said: “And there’s Trent Williams, who is a big part of the strength of this offensive line, and they’re missing him up front.”

To make matters worse, Prime Video included a graphic in the bottom third that said “TRENT WILLIAMS” while Herbstreit was speaking.

Almost immediately, fans ran to their keyboards and dove into the images… featuring the former NFL player Emmanuel Acho I write, “Ummmm Thursday Night Football, that black man is NOT Trent Williams.”

“I repeat, fake black.”

Former Chiefs O-lineman Geoff Schwartz added, “Trent Williams looks different,” with a crying emoji.
