Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers were the favorites to win Super Bowl before the start of the 2024 season. However, injuries could end all of those championship hopes.

The list of players who have missed games is simply incredible, with names like Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffreyGeorge Kittle, Nick Bosa, Brock Purdy or Trent Williams.

Even though they were the biggest threat to dethronement Kansas City ChiefsThis problem might be too difficult to overcome amid a brutal schedule. Now things only got worse.

Who got injured on the 49ers?

Fred Warner confirmed that he has a broken bone in one of his ankles. In a shocking turn of events, the star linebacker confirmed that he will play against the Bills as he has been dealing with the injury since Week 4.

“Anytime you break a bone and you just keep playing on it, the bone usually won’t be able to heal itself. It’s something I deal with every game. Before every game I sit on the table and shoot it up. I only do this in solo games just to be able to roll the dice, but that’s no excuse. It is exactly what it is. This is the NFL. You won’t be healthy. You have to go out there and find ways to make it happen. You have to find a way to play at a high level and win every week. I just have to keep going and fight through it.”
