Lions CB Khalil Dorsey was sidelined with an ankle injury

DETROIT – There was a scary scene at Ford Field after Lions cornerback Khalil Dorsey went down and had to be carried off the field late in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

After his fall, members of the Lions and Bills rushed to his side. Dorsey appeared to be injured after his leg collided with teammate Ezekiel Turner’s leg near the battle line.

Dorsey was officially sidelined with an ankle injury as the Lions trailed 21-14 with 1:53 left in the second quarter.

Early in the second half, the Lions also sidelined cornerback Carlton Davis III with a jaw injury. Davis left the field after a helmet-to-helmet collision at 1:36 p.m. of the second quarter and was evaluated for a concussion. He was listed as questionable as to whether he would return with a jaw injury before being ruled out.
