Live Updates, Alamo Bowl Game Channel

One of Colorado football’s most successful seasons in recent memory comes to an end on Saturday. And it marks something of an end of an era.

While coach Deion Sanders has said he will return to build on his early success in Colorado, several players who have helped him build the Buffaloes program so far – most notably Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders – will be hers last game in a year to play in a Colorado uniform.

Unlike previous years, the final game of the year will not be in the regular season, but rather in a bowl appearance. The 2024 Alamo Bowl represents the program’s first in a non-COVID year since 2016 and could be the team’s first postseason victory since a victory in the 2004 Houston Bowl.

The 22nd-ranked Buffaloes (9-3) will face fellow Big 12 No. 17 BYU (10-2) in San Antonio, a bowl season feature created after the Power Four- Conferences had agreed to treat Colorado and other former Pac-12 programs as “Pac-12 legacy teams” instead of the current members of their current conferences. In that sense, Saturday’s Alamo Bowl could be viewed as a Pac-12 vs. Big 12 meeting.

Regardless, Colorado will look to put the finishing touches to a wildly successful Year 2 of the Deion Sanders era. Follow us for live updates, scores and highlights from the Buffs’ Alamo Bowl meeting against BYU:
