30th over – Schutt continues

Megan Schutt bowls to Deepti Sharma.

FOUR. Great shot from the left-hander across the leg-side infield to the edge of the field.

After a dot ball, another pull shot scores a single for Deepti.

Jemimah Rodrigues hits a pull shot down the ground for a single run.

Deepti works a ball off her pads through mid-wicket for a single.

Schutt throws it full to Rodrigues and it’s a dot ball.

29th over – Ash Gardner continues

Ash Gardner will bowl her fourth over.

She has a defensive field as Australia are happy to simply suffocate India in this massive chase.

India can only manage three singles as Garnder restricts the batters due to space constraints.

28th over continues

Deepti Sharma is the new batsman.

Megan Schutt storms in.

For the left-handed batsman, Schutt bowls a clean line for three dot balls.

Deepti is able to get a ball off her pads and into the leg side for a single. Deepti is next to it.

A great deficit from Schutt and the end of any small hopes India had of achieving this massive total.

Megan Schutt is back in attack and has the wicket of Harmanpreet Kaur.

Harmanpreet chopped a ball off her pads and threw it to Georgia Voll at mid-wicket.

Harmanpreet is out at 38.

Australia’s opening bowler Megan Schutt comes back into the attack.

Ash Gardner will bowl her third over.

Jemimah Rodrigues pulls it in the air and it falls safely for a single.

FOUR. Jemimah Rodrigues plays a wonderful reverse sweep, beats Kim Garth and goes to the boundary.

The right arm finger spinner comes back for another try.

24th over – Alana King continues

King has her tail up after taking a wicket in her last over.

Jemimah Rodrigues hits a single off the first ball, which is followed by a single off an off-drive Harmanpreet Kaur.

FOUR. Rodrigues lifts King over the guard. A great shot that pushes the limits.

King follows with a point, then a late cut goes through the open slip area for two runs.

APPEAL. King slams Rodrigues and appeals. Not out, says the referee.

Australian captain Tahlia McGrath reviewed.

The ball was bowled outside leg stump. The review has been lost.

23rd over – Sutherland continues

Annabel Sutherland carries on while Harmanpreet Kaur takes a single to start the new beginning.

Jemimah Rodrigues makes a brilliant push to the finish, but it is stopped just before reaching the rope. Two runs for Rodrigues.

FOUR. Rodrigues plays a beautiful cover drive to the boundary. In the last match, she was India’s top scorer.

WICKET. ALANA KING BOWLS GHOSH

Out of. Great ball from Alana King.

Richa Ghosh tried to sweep and King throws it around her legs.

It bowls to leg stump, spins around Ghosh and hits middle stumps.

The only person who didn’t know it was thrown out was King, who asked the umpire for LBW.

The referee didn’t bat an eyelash, instead letting King take out her lungs before telling her the seatbelts were off.

22nd over – King continues with leg spin

Alana King goes ahead and bowls her first ball, which is hit wide by Harmanpreet Kaur for a single.

Richa Ghosh plays a late cut to a ball that rose around the chest for a single.

FOUR. Harmanpreet sweeps up and takes it to the gap in front of square leg. It goes on to 30.

Harmanpreet flies into the air but the ball lands safely for a single.

21st over – Opener Richa Ghosh scores 50 for India

McGrath bowls to Harmanpreet Kaur, who opens the blade and scores a single.

That brings the 100 for India.

Richa Ghosh is on strike and is at 49.

Ghosh plays in three deliveries but is unable to penetrate the infield.

FOUR. Great shot. It was short and wide and Ghosh cut well to the boundary.

20th over – Alana King attacks

Tahlia McGrath has turned to her leg-spin bowler Alana King.

The first ball hits Richa Ghosh. Drift and rotation occurred upon impact with the outer edge.

Ghosh plays a late cut for a single and now moves to 49.

Harmanpreet Kaur is on strike and cannot hit the infield for the next three balls.

Harmanpreet then sweeps the air but falls safely for a single.

End of a good over from King. Just two of them.
