Mail truck stolen in Des Moines, found unattended nearby

Des Moines police are searching for a suspect after a mail truck was reported stolen along East Grand Avenue on Tuesday. According to police, a postal driver got out of the vehicle to deliver a package. When the driver turned to return to his vehicle, he discovered it was gone. Police located the vehicle in the 5900 block of East Grand Avenue, just about a block from where it was reported stolen. Investigators are working to locate a suspect.
