Man arrested in stolen vehicle after chase across Fresno County

A 28-year-old man was arrested after the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said he led a deputy on a chase in a stolen vehicle.

The chase began in Folwer when the deputy attempted to pull over a Chevy Colorado with no license plates.

The driver did not stop and continued driving through Fowler before the man stopped to let a woman out of the truck and then continued driving.

The woman who got out of the truck was arrested.

The police officer eventually broke off the pursuit because the man was driving so dangerously.

The sheriff’s helicopter searched the area and found the man still behind the wheel.

The helicopter followed the truck and told officers where it was going.

The man approached Fresno and headed west on Highway 180.

The driver was identified as Dannie Rollins.
