Man in Wisconsin was arrested after he tried to elude authorities and ran into his home

(WFRV) – A 57-year-old man was taken into custody over the weekend after he allegedly fled authorities and ran into his apartment.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, on December 22nd around 6:50 p.m., a deputy attempted to pull over a vehicle that was traveling 21 miles per hour over the speed limit on State Highway 33. Officials said the driver fled from the deputy and drove to his home.

The driver then allegedly ran in and failed to obey the deputy’s legal order to stop, the release said. It was mentioned that the driver, who was a 57-year-old from Iron Ridge, actually came out of the house and complied with law enforcement.

The man was taken to prison on multiple charges. Authorities said this was the second police chase that occurred in Dodge County on Sunday.
