Mariah Carey Teases Starring in Netflix’s NFL Christmas Day Broadcast

Mariah Carey gave fans a sneak peek at her role on Netflix’s NFL Christmas show with a promo on X.

On Tuesday, the streaming service released a 15-second video to promote the Christmas program, which featured Carey providing voiceover commentary.

Carey wore a red and gold Nutcracker suit and stood in front of a microphone stand in a festively decorated room to deliver her lines.

“This Christmas we’re all getting our wish,” the video was then edited into short clips of players from the featured teams recorded via microphone during their games.

“The NFL is on Netflix,” the songbird continued. “And I’ll be there too.”

The extent of Carey’s involvement was not disclosed. However, the teaser came after it was reported that she opened Games Day with her seasonal hit “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

Carey is expected to sing

Carey is expected to sing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” before the Chiefs-Steelers game

Carey’s opening number was released after it was announced that Beyoncé would be the halftime entertainment for the Ravens-at-Texans game in her hometown of Houston.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers will take the field at Acrisure Stadium at 1 p.m., followed by the showdown between the Ravens and Texans at 4:30 p.m.

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co. are 12-1 this season and will face the Cleveland Browns and Texans before visiting the Steelers on Christmas.

Pittsburgh is 10-3 in the AFC North with meetings in Philadelphia and Baltimore before hosting the Chiefs.

As for the game later, the Ravens are 7-4 and will warm up against the New York Giants and Stealers before traveling to Houston.

The Texans are 8-5 with games against Miami and Kansas City before facing Lamar Jackson and the Ravens on Christmas Day.
