Mass. Mega Millions ticket wins $1 million in Friday drawing

No ticket sold nationwide won the Mega Millions jackpot Friday night, but someone in the Bay State is waking up to an early holiday surprise. A ticket sold at Ghafour Fuel in Norwood matched five numbers and won $1 million, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. Two other $1 million winners were sold for the drawing, one in California and one in New York. The biggest prize of the night was a ticket in Vermont that won $3 million by matching 5 numbers and the Megaplier.
