Meet the WAGS taking over Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo

The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) took place in Las Vegas, Nevada for the highly anticipated finale – and the cowboys’ glamorous WAGS took over the city while showing off their designer outfits and Birkin bags.

The NFR takes place the first full week of December each year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is broadcast live on The Cowboy Channel.

Concurrently taking place is Cowboy Christmas, the official gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, offering more than 500,000 square feet of merchandise including custom jewelry, western wear, boots and more.

The wives, girlfriends and, in some cases, sisters of professional bull riders don’t pick up all of their outfits at Cowboy Christmas – but they do select pieces to accessorize with.

Many are obsessed with showcasing their designer wares on Instagram, which are then featured on The Bull Rider Wives account.

They buy outfits well in advance, make sure to snag custom pieces on Etsy, and look for vintage items that no one else will have.

From black leather to blue Birkins jeans, FEMAIL brings together the most glamorous women in Las Vegas for the rodeo finale.

Influencer Kaitlyn Davis, who has 249,000 Instagram followers, is famous for her high-fashion looks (and her collection of Hermes bags), much to the delight of her followers.

Kaitlyn is married to Cooper Davis, the 2016 PBR World Champion, and is the owner of a hard-to-find blue jean Birkin and matching belt.

She has more than 400,000 followers on TikTok who love her chic outfits, even if they’re not a fan of rodeos – in fact, many have no idea what NFR means.

On her first night in Vegas, Kaitlyn rocked a vintage fringed animal print blazer, turquoise bolo tie, brown Revolve leather shorts, Wolford tights, black Louis Vuitton boots and a Hermes bag.

Shelby Mayfield, who grew up in a rodeo family, has also gone viral on social media for her stylish Vegas ensembles that aren’t traditional western wear – although she does wear cowboy boots and turquoise jewelry.

The Dallas, Texas-based digital artist collaborated with Kendra Scott to accessorize her outfits, which include skin-tight leather leggings and Yellowstone-inspired outerwear.

Shelby, whose brother is 2020 world champion Shad Mayfield, even opted for an edgy black outfit, pairing a low-cut vest with furry capri pants and telling her Instagram followers, “Whoever gets it, gets it.”

Shelby shows off all of her outfits in GRWM videos and said this is the first year she’s been to the rode finals just for herself.

The Western influencer, who has been coming to the NFR for eight years, said on TikTok that it had become “way too commercial” and that she used to go to Forever 21 to pick out outfits.

After posting all of her cowboycore OOTDS, the stylist thanked critics for her rapid social media engagement, saying, “If you don’t like the way I dress, I have so much confidence that I can literally doesn’t matter.”

“To everyone who hated me…if I was an underdog, I would hate myself a lot,” Shelby continued, cementing her place as rodeo queen.
