Megan Moroney and Forrest Frank were booked into the stands

The Iowa State Fair announced two grandstand shows for the 2025 State Fair this morning.

It’s a little bit Christian and a little bit country with Forrest Frank opening night and Megan Moroney headlining the first Saturday night.

Frank is booked in the stands with his special guest Lecrae for Thursday August 7th at 8pm. Frank won the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Award for New Artist this year. He also won Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for “Good Day.”

Moroney, along with special guest Kameron Marlowe, will take to the show’s largest stage on Saturday, August 9, at 8 p.m. Moroney won the Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year award in November.

Tickets, which range from $25 to $55 for Frank and $45 to $85 for Moroney, will be available beginning Friday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. at iowastatefair.org.

The first Grandstand show for 2025 was announced last week. Hairball will be headlining a show on Wednesday, August 13th.
