Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore recreates the flag planting incident at the Wolverine basketball game

A week after Michigan’s 13-10 victory over Ohio State, which was followed by a brawl between the Buckeyes and Wolverines fueled by the winner’s desire to raise a Block M flag at midfield, Moore is still celebrating the victory his team.

At Saturday’s Michigan-Iowa basketball game in Ann Arbor, Moore — sitting next to the Wolverine commit and Bryce Underwood as the No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class — mimicked the flag-raising incident that sparked the postgame shoving match.

This latest event follows Moore’s announcement that Michigan will raise the infamous flag at Schembechler Hall.

According to Sherrone Moore, Michigan will display the flag it installed at its football facilities in Columbus.
