KEVIN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. THIS STORY IS GOING TO BE WILD, right? Mysterious drones return to Wright-Patt Air Force Base. FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A WEEK. NOW. The military confirms that unmanned aerial systems were spotted in the air over the base last night. AND ALSO THIS MORNING. KARIN JOHNSON WAS IN HISTORY YESTERDAY. SHE’S BACK. LIVE FOR US. KAREN, tell us what’s going on. YES. HEY, MIKE. Wright-Patt tells us that the drones have been spotted again near. AND ALSO OVER THE AIR BASE, BOTH THIS NIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING. Unlike on Friday, the airspace over the base was not closed. Drones again seen flying over Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. A BASIC SPEAKER TELLS WLWT, QUOTE, THE NUMBER OF SYSTEMS FLUCATES AND THEY ARE DIFFERENT IN SIZE AND CONFIGURATION. But someone knows someone in authority and knows what’s going on. DAVE MCDONALD IS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF THE CINCINNATI-based FLAMINGO AIR AND THE UFO NETWORK. MUFON. TONIGHT HE WEIGHS OUT THE MYSTERIOUS DRONES THAT HAVE BEEN SEEN ACROSS THE COUNTRY, INCLUDING NEW JERSEY. One of the people I have up in HOBOKEN, he said, “DAVE, this is the tightest controlled airspace near Washington DC that there is.” HE SAID. THESE THINGS ARE THE SIZE OF CARS. MCDONALD SAYS IN THE PHOTOS HE HAS SEEN, SOME EVEN ARE A RED AND A GREEN LIGHT. Well, this is the standard lighting configuration for aircraft in the US, although there is a lot of speculation as to what the flying objects might be. MCDONALD SAYS THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE THEY ARE ANYTHING OTHER THAN DRONES. THEY ARE PHYSICAL DRONES. THEY DON’T COME FROM ANOTHER PLANET. THESE ARE MY FEELINGS. I think the government most likely knows what they are. I mean, if they didn’t, if their airspace was invaded, they would be stopped, period. The FBI said today that it has received more than 5,000 reports of drone sightings in recent weeks and generated about 100 tips. In a joint statement, the FBI, FAA and Department of Defense say that after close review of technical data and tips from concerned citizens, we conclude that the sightings to date include a combination of legitimate commercial drones, hobby drones and law enforcement drones MANned FIXED-WING PLANES, HELICOPTERS AND STARS THAT WERE INCORRECTLY REPORTED AS DRONES. AND AS TO THE DRONES ABOVE WRIGHT-PATT AND OTHER DOD INSTALLATIONS, THE FED SAYS THAT THESE TYPES OF SIGHTINGS ARE NOT NEW. They also said today that local commanders were actively involved in ensuring appropriate detection and mitigation measures were in place. TONIGHT LIVE coverage, KAREN JOHNSON, WLWT NEWS FIVE. You would think the federal government would panic if this was a major threat, Karen, but Wright-Patt officials are asking people out there, if you see any of this, please report it properly. YES. You know that today, in the statement that they sent to us, it was specifically stated again that anyone who detects drones in this area or really detects any suspicious activity should call the command center, the security forces there or the local police DEPARTMENT. IN ORDER. The mystery is still not solved. KAREN JOHNSON LIVES FROM THE
