The NBA showed us our Christmas present earlier, but we can’t open it until Wednesday.
On Monday afternoon, the league released a superstar-studded interview on its social platforms. Two images featuring Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Stephen Curry were accompanied by a caption that read, “NBA OGs Convo.” The NBA also said fans should stay tuned to Christmas Day to learn more.
Part of me is very excited to see what these three have to say. There aren’t many better players to put next to each other to talk about the ball and the NBA’s current generation. Each and every one of these guys has made a lasting impact on the league and they aren’t done writing their stories yet!
At the same time, the league tends to overproduce things like this. I’m afraid we’ll only get snippets of this conversation during commercial breaks or before the game. Let’s hope I’m wrong and this is actually a longer discussion where they just let the camera roll! Again, it’s rare to have so much talent in the room!
