Las Vegas, NV – Residents and leisure travelers in Nevada can expect clear skies and mild temperatures today, with conditions warming slightly through the weekend. Christmas Day brings sunny highs of 63 degrees, perfect for outdoor celebrations and safe road travel.

According to the National Weather Service, light winds will continue throughout the day, decreasing in speed through the afternoon. Tonight will cool to a low of 43°C, with partly cloudy skies as temperatures fall across the region.

Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday are expected to be mostly sunny, with highs around 61 to 63 degrees and lows around 41 degrees. Calm winds and dry conditions should make for ideal travel weather for those heading home after vacation. By Saturday, temperatures will rise to 65 degrees, it will be partly cloudy at night and lows will be around 40 degrees. Sunday marks the warmest day of the weekend, with sunny highs of 68 degrees making for a pleasant end to the week.

Travelers using I-15 and other major highways in Nevada should not experience significant weather-related delays. However, early morning commuters may want to prepare for cooler temperatures before the midday warmth sets in.
