So that was the first time we heard about Hecker’s rape victim. He looked deep into his eyes and said, “I don’t forgive you.” Hecker said nothing. In the courtroom, Hecker’s victim took the stand. He said Hecker offered to help him form the wrestling team. 1975. Instead, he was put in a headlock until he was unconscious and raped. This man should have been in prison immediately after committing all his crimes and others who covered it up shuffled around and should have sat next to him. The victim later told his principal what happened. The victim was threatened with deportation. Hecker has lived as a free man until now. He came in here, he admitted his guilt. He admitted the crimes he had committed. HE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY. He has served his sentence and will die in handcuffs. People from across the state fighting against child sexual abuse filled the courtroom. I hope he rots in hell. They spoke after court and made sure they were heard. It is the systematic, institutionalized sexual abuse on a large scale, the rape of our children, and records show a sealed confession from Hecker in 1999. He was later allowed to retire in 2002 while on the witness stand was. HECKER’S rape victim said he remembered when the diocese listed HECKER as a credibly accused priest on the witness stand in 2018. The victim said his father said I wish I had believed you. A doctor confirmed before the trial that Hecker suffered from Alzheimer’s and dementia, but his lawyer said Hecker was found fit to stand trial.
