New trailer for Captain America 4 brings back Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers

Although Captain America: Brave New World is Sam Wilson’s film, but that doesn’t mean Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers won’t have a role.

The release is scheduled for February 14, 2025. Captain America 4 is Anthony Mackie’s first feature film as the Star Spangled Man, tasked with unraveling an international crisis amid a government conspiracy.

The newly released trailer for Captain America: Brave New World begins with key moments between Chris Evans’ Cap and Anthony Mackie’s new headlining hero.

The action-packed trailer spot begins with Sam Wilson’s Cap racing through the sky and reflecting on the events Captain America: The Winter Soldiersuch as when Steve walks past Sam in Washington, DC and says: “To your left” The two then met for the first time.

Sam’s final flashback comes from the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame where old Steve hands the shield and mantle of Captain America to Sam.

After Sam promised “I will do my best” Steve assures him and says: “That’s why it’s yours.”

The trailer then shifts the focus to the current events of Captain America 4including the international conflict over adamantium and President Thaddeus Ross’ (Harrison Ford) request that Sam rebuild the Avengers.

When things go wrong, Sam approaches Ross and says: “Your inner circle has been compromised. Let me fix this.”

But after Ross replied: “You’re not Steve Rogers.” a reminder of how the Man Out of Time’s shadow still hovers over the MCU, Sam replies: “You’re right. Not me.”

The trailer shows Sam Wilson’s Cap in action on the ground and in the air, as well as the new villain Sidewinder, played by Giancarlo Esposito.

Towards the end, fans get a glimpse of Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader before President Ross transforms into Red Hulk.

Even though Sam Wilson has seemingly taken on the title of Captain America Brave new worldit seems he’s still struggling to live up to Steve Rogers’ legacy.
