NFL Week 16 anytime TD scorer bets including Trey McBride

NFL Week 16 anytime TD scorer bets including Trey McBride

By now you’ve probably heard about one of the most impressive scoring outbursts we’ve ever seen from an NFL player: Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride had 89 catches without a touchdown in a season. That mark is good enough for most touchdowns in a single season, although he still has three games left to ensure that record never goes down in history.

That starts Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, and if he can’t score in that game, we might just have to accept that it will never happen. No team has allowed more touchdowns to tight ends this season than the Panthers, with 10. Best of all, Kyler Murray is aware of McBride’s improbable streak and wants to help end it.

“85 will reach the end zone soon, I promise,” Murray said somewhere.

A good matchup combined with the added production from his quarterback gives McBride a great chance to finally hit the pay dirt. Here’s that prop and more of my favorite touchdown scorers for Week 16, with odds from BetMGM.

The return of Aidan O’Connell should at least give Bowers more catches, as he only has six catches in the last two games combined. I can’t think of a better player to rely on in this terrible game.

I always love finding plus odds on running backs, even if it’s someone like Ford who only scores two points all year. He’ll once again be Cleveland’s lead back with Nick Chubb out, and with Dorian Thompson-Robinson at quarterback, he’ll be the best chance to score.

Although Rachaad White has been the player scoring touchdowns out of Tampa’s backfield in recent weeks, Irving has emerged as the best runner and has a good matchup to get back into the end zone for the first time since Week 13.

If McBride can’t score in this game, someone may need to investigate Kyler Murray and OC Drew Petzing for conspiring to keep him out of the end zone, because this is getting silly.

The Giants are finally getting the ball back to Nabers as he caught 10 of 14 targets, including a touchdown, against the Ravens last week. And while Atlanta hopes Michael Penix Jr. will fix their offensive woes, he’s doing nothing to improve their pass coverage.

Wilson and Davante Adams both have good scoring chances today, but Wilson’s longer odds make him more attractive against the Rams. Even in Adams’ monster game last week, Wilson was able to contribute a touchdown.
