Official: AC Milan starting eleven vs. Red Star

AC Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca has named the team that will face Red Star, with no real surprises.

Milan have won their last three Champions League games and are moving up the table after two defeats at the start of the season, but Today’s game against the Serbian champions will not be easy due to its shape.

Fonseca will have a slightly weakened attack for the game, with Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor unavailable due to injury alongside Alessandro Florenzi, Ismael Bennacer and Luka Jovic.

The biggest question mark in the game was how to replace Pulisicand the answer was confirmed by the coach yesterday: with Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The Englishman will play behind Alvaro Morata, flanked by Yunus Musah on the right and Rafael Leao on the left. Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders remain the two central midfielders.

Davide Calabria returns to the team at right-back, with Theo Hernandez on the other side. Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw form the central defender pairing in front of Mike Maignan in goal.
