Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in rematch in Saudi Arabia.

The 37-year-old Ukrainian Usyk, who entered the fight as a narrow favorite, retained his WBO, WBC and WBA heavyweight titles with his victory at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

British fighter FuryThe 36-year-old had been hoping to gain revenge after his previous loss to Usyk in May.

However, the fight went on the scorecard as all three judges scored the fight 116-112 in Usyk’s favor.

Usyk was the only man to hand Fury a professional defeat when he beat him on pointsHe became the first boxer to hold all four major heavyweight belts at the same time and the first undisputed champion in 24 years.

But his reign of the four belts ended just a month later when he gave up his IBF belt to fight in a rematch against Fury because he was unable to make a mandatory defense against the organization’s interim belt holder Daniel Dubois, to provide.

The 27-year-old Dubois defended the belt with a fifth-round knockout against his 34-year-old British rival Anthony Joshua in October.

He faces Joseph Parker on February 22nd and the Usyk victory could set up a future fight to unify all the titles.

Before the fight, Usyk and Fury locked horns for more than 11 minutes in a face-to-face press conference on Thursday.

Fury weighed a career-high 20 kilos and 1 pound, while Usyk weighed 16 kilos and 2 pounds, the heaviest weight he has ever recorded, although both men were fully clothed when they stepped on the scales.
