Oops! Doug Gottlieb said he didn’t want to play Nobody U because Green Bay would win by 20 points, having only lost to Division II Michigan Tech

You may be wondering why this tweet is leading a blog. It’s perhaps important to note that this was said a week ago after a loss to Milwaukee. Well, because this happened:

Uhh oh oh! That Nobody U would come in and get a victory. What’s good is that Gottlieb and Green Bay can say, according to his calendar, that today doesn’t count:

Don’t even pretend anymore! You can’t blame a loss to a Nobody U Division II team when it falls during this part of the December calendar. You could at least get it in the “fake work” section and have a chance. But this is actually going to be a hellish week for Gottlieb:

You can’t get overwhelmed by Adam Schefter and lose to a Division II team in the same week. You just can’t do it. I don’t care if Anthony Roy (top 5 scorer in the country) is injured. It’s Nobody U! What can you learn from winning at 20? I guess no one told Gottlieb that there was a possibility of another loss. Schefter needs to start tweeting again. Take a victory lap when you’re just a few days away. Oh, and not to mention Gottlieb is scheduled to host a radio show tonight. I wonder how this is going to go and if he gets a call from a certain guy in Staten Island.

Hard, hard times. Some may even say you hate to see it. At least he can ruin his body with food and alcohol in a few days.
