It’s the beginning of a happy holiday season for Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes!

“Very happy,” Brittany, 29, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, December 14, sharing photos from the couple’s evening at the Kansas City Chiefs Christmas party the night before.

Brittany, who is pregnant with the couple’s third child, looked chic and festive in a red turtleneck dress. She completed her ensemble with a gold handbag and leopard print stilettos.

For glamour, Brittany wore her hair in a high, pinned ponytail, which later caused problems for 29-year-old Patrick.

“Does anyone else’s husband take out your hair and think he can just pull it out of your hair?” she joked in an Instagram Story video shared on Sunday, in which she posted shots of the discarded clear hair ties that came with Strands of her curls were intertwined. “Because mine did last night.”

For his part, the Chiefs quarterback wore a striped Prada shirt and matching khaki pants from the brand to the festivities. In the photos, he put a hand around Brittany’s waist and smiled.

The Chiefs held their annual holiday meeting in Kansas City on Friday, December 13th. The next day, the team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio prior to the football game against the Browns on Sunday, December 15th. The Missouri-based team will next face the Houston Texans on December 21st and the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25th.

Before the “short weeks” Patrick talked about his everyday training routine.

“I think coach (Andy) Reid has a great plan, so I’m going to follow it and focus on this opponent,” Patrick said during a press conference earlier this week. “Then as we go into another short week and then the one after that, I will focus on these opponents.”

Patrick further noted that he’s looking forward to “playing at Christmas” later this month.

“But you never want to play so many games in such a short time,” he added. “It’s just not good for your body, but ultimately it’s your job. You have to come to work and do it.”

Throughout Patrick’s NFL season, Brittany and the couple’s children were a fixture on the sidelines. (They share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 20 months.)

“He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. That’s exactly what he loves to do,” Brittany previously said about game days during an August appearance on the “WHOOP” podcast. “I think he loves going into the new week with new game plans, new challenges and new people.”
