People Fancast Dave Franco as UnitedHealthcare Suspect for…

Dave Franco has found his doppelganger.

On Monday, reports surfaced that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the murder of CEO Brian Thompson in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The person of interest was not Franco, but he does bear a resemblance, as many on social media pointed out.

Police reportedly arrested 26-year-old Luigi Mangione of Towson, Maryland, after he was spotted at a McDonald’s. His mugshot was released by authorities a short time later.

A video of his arrest also circulated online. Mangione was denied bail after being charged in Blair County with weapons possession and false identification. When officers searched his backpack, they found a black pistol, a 3D-printed silencer and a loaded Glock magazine with six 9mm cartridges.

The similarities between Franco and Mangione were not lost on people across the world wide web, who took the opportunity to tease them Super bad Actor. At one point, Franco was ranked #5 on X. Luigi Mangione was #1, McDonald was #3, Arrest was #8, and Free Him was #10.

“Dave Franco picks up the phone,” one X user wrote, while another mentioned TV writer, producer and director Ryan Murphy.

Murphy is known for his film adaptations and creating series based on real stories, including the shows Nip/Tuck And American horror storyand the Alec Baldwin starrer Running with scissors and Julia Roberts feature Eat, pray, love.

“Somewhere Ryan Murphy’s ears perked up and his mouth started drooling. He’s already picked up a pen and texted Netflix an idea,” another X user joked.

Another X user also brought up Michael Mann as a possible director and producer. Man is behind the TV series MiamiViceJohnny Depp Enemies of the stateAdam Driver’s Ferrariand more.

Thompson was murdered on December 4th outside a Hilton hotel in midtown Manhattan. Mangione was reportedly arrested after authorities received a tip from a McDonald’s employee who recognized him. Other evidence collected against him includes a fake ID, believed to be the same ID Mangione used in a New York hostel. He was also allegedly found with a gun, a silencer and a handwritten manifesto.

Mangione was reportedly the valedictorian of his 2016 high school graduating class in Baltimore. In 2020, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Engineering, Computer and Information Science, completing both degrees simultaneously.
