Pizza delivery man accused of stabbing customer because he gave her bad tip

A Florida woman was arrested this week after stabbing a customer who she believed had given her a bad tip at a recent pizza delivery service, police allege.

Brianna Alvelo, 22, spent Christmas in the Osceola County Jail on charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, home invasion with a firearm and aggravated assault, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post Wednesday.

Authorities allege that Alvelo and a male accomplice, armed with a knife and a gun, respectively, broke into a room at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee on Dec. 22, where Alvelo stabbed the roommate multiple times.

According to authorities, the couple then stole several items from the room.

The sheriff’s office alleges Alvelo had a pizza delivered to her room earlier that evening and was upset about the tip she received.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition as of Dec. 25, the sheriff’s office reported.

An attorney for Alvelo could not immediately be reached.
