Postgame fight song led by Kalani Sitake following the Alamo Bowl

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – After BYU’s all-time victory over Colorado in the Alamo Bowl, Kalani Sitake led the Cougars in singing the postgame fight song.

No. 17 BYU will finish the 2024 season in the Valero Alamo Bowl against Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and the No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes.

“We’ll just pretend you guys make me look good, okay,” Sitake said from a stepladder before leading the performance.

Sitake, the 14th head coach in BYU history, just completed his ninth season at the helm, leading the Cougars to the 13th 11-win season in program history. LaVell Edwards’ protégé will begin his 25th season as coach at BYU in 2025.

Sitake will be inducted into the Polynesian College Football Hall of Fame on January 18, 2025.
