Prasad’s Lo Wildifire Ledha ‘Pushpa’?

Prasads Multiplex is one of the famous theaters in Hyderabad. Opened in 2003, the property has hosted numerous films. The multiplex is a meeting place for film lovers every weekend. Irrespective of the budget of a film, Prasads always hosted the special premieres and early premieres. In some cases the first show was played in prasads first. Surprisingly, Prasads is not hosting Pushpa 2: The Rule this time.

Word in the market is that Prasads management is not ready to give 55 percent share to producers. According to reports, all other multiplex chains have a 55 percent stake. Prasads always give a proportion of 50-52%. The producers do not agree with the management of Prasads that the multiplex chains across the country are giving 55 percent and they expect the same from Prasads too.

Since Prasads has been doing this for almost a decade, they also have a policy of offering F&B at an affordable price. Prasad management is not willing to give 55% because if they accept this it will become standard and they will have to offer the same to all distributors in future!

Due to the disagreement with the producers, the Prasads have not performed any shows for the film tomorrow. The multiplex is also not hosting the special premieres that have started in many individual halls and some plexiglasses.

We’ll have to see if the situation changes in a day or two.
