Pushpa 2 Movie Release Date, Review, Advance Sales, Box Office Prediction

Pushpa 2 The Rule Movie Release: When Pushpa 1 hit theaters three years ago, not many could have predicted the impact it would have on Indian cinema. The film, about a courageous nobody’s rise to the top ranks of a smuggling syndicate, resonated across the country. Apart from its numerous successes at the box office, ‘Pushpa’ also made history by making Allu Arjun the first male Telugu actor to win a National Award for Best Actor. In fact, in an interview on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Unstoppable with NBK, Allu Arjun spoke about how disturbing it was to not see a single Telugu male actor in the list of top actors and Pushpa’s role in making history. Finally, the journey that began in December 2021 will come full circle this December as Pushpa 2: The Rule hits theaters on Thursday.

Despite various controversies surrounding Pushpa 2, including an alleged fallout between director Sukumar and Allu Arjun and a public spat between composer Devi Sri Prasad and producers Mythri Movie Makers, the film has been completed and is gearing up for a blockbuster opening. The hype surrounding the film is largely due to the intensive promotional campaign spearheaded by Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. They have kept the film in the news for the last few weeks through relentless promotions in cities like Patna, Kochi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

Other actors who would reprise their roles from the first part alongside Allu Arjun include Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Rao Ramesh, Anasuya Bhardwaj, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Prathap Bhandari and Dhananjaya.

Even as other things changed around them and the ensemble continued to star in other projects, Sukumar and Allu Arjun remained completely focused on the two Pushpa films, which first hit theaters in December 2019, just a few weeks before the country went into lockdown due to the Corona crisis was closed global pandemic. Since then, these two top talents have given their best to ensure that Pushpa is a film that Indian cinema can be proud of. And in a few hours we would know if their vision came true.
