Pushpa scene “Jathara” removed in Saudi Arabia!

Pushpa scene “Jathara” removed in Saudi Arabia!

The much-awaited film ‘Pushpa-2’ starring Allu Arjun is facing unexpected censorship issues in Saudi Arabia. Reports from national media show that the Saudi Arabian censorship board significantly shortened the film and removed a 19-minute sequence. Sources claim that the cuts were made due to content that was deemed offensive, particularly involving religious references.

One of the main themes was a scene featuring Bunny Ammavari, which reportedly contained references to Hindu deities. The authorities in Saudi Arabia did not like this part of the film and so it was removed. As a result, the final version of Pushpa-2 shown in the country will be 3 hours and 1 minute long, with the controversial parts edited out.

This is not the first time a film has been censored in Saudi Arabia. Recently, films like Singam Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa-3 were also banned in the country for similar reasons. Despite the cuts, “Pushpa-2” is expected to do well at the box office, although the full version remains unavailable in some countries.
