Rashan Gary terrifies Lisa Salters by crashing Jordan Love’s post-match interview

Lisa Salters was a mainstay Monday Night Football as a sideline reporter for over a decade. But on Monday, the Salters were truly shaken in a way rarely seen, thanks to a very energetic Rashan Gary after the Packers’ win over the Saints.

The crowd at home wasn’t particularly thrilled with the Packers’ dominant 34-0 victory over the Saints, who were largely uncompetitive at halftime. But considering the game marked a postseason appearance for the Packers, the energy on their sideline after the big win was perhaps at its season-high.

Perhaps no Packers player was more excited about the win than Rashan Gary. This was incredibly clear during the Salters’ postgame interview with Packers quarterback Jordan Love.

Just seconds after Salters asked Love what he thought of his team’s postseason birth, Gary interrupted the interview and stepped behind Salters and Love to loudly express his excitement over the Packers’ win.

“It’s amazing, we’ve been working on this all season,” Love said before being interrupted by Gary.

“Stop playing with him!” Gary shouted, making Salters visibly wince. “Again! Punch the ticket!”

Gary then barked like a dog into the microphone Salters was holding before leaving, allowing Love to continue his interview with Salters. But not before Salters admitted how shocked she was when Gary’s excited scream interrupted the interview.

“He scared me,” Salters said.

Love would fully support Gary’s message in his response to Salters’ question about how he felt about giving birth after the season.

“What he said,” Love said. “What he said. Yes Yes Yes.”

To be fair to Salters, hearing such a loud scream from someone just a few feet away from you when your back is turned, as she did to Gary in this case, would rightly scare many other reporters .

Still, if she’s asked to return to Lambeau Field at some point, it’s certainly a moment she’ll probably never forget and probably never remember.
