Regular Fox contributor Dr. Kelly Powers has died at the age of 45

Dr. Kelly Powersa surgeon who often appeared on Fox News shows like Fox & friends, Red eyesAnd The Willis Reporthas died. She was just 45.

The television personality passed away on Sunday, December 1, after a year-long battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer.

In a GoFundMe fundraiser to support her treatment, friends shared with the commenter that she was diagnosed with “one of the deadliest forms of brain cancer, glioblastoma” in 2020.

She underwent “three brain surgeries, multiple rounds of radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy,” which resulted in remission, but “the cancer returned this year.”

“Conventional” treatments were “no longer effective” for the cancer and Powers was enrolled in a “groundbreaking and innovative” treatment program in Germany that was not covered by insurance. GoFundMe raised nearly $90,000 to help.

Her obituary called her “a brave and beautiful soul who could make friends anywhere,” and also noted her “many hobbies,” which included “gardening, surfing, ballet, cycling, running, horseback riding, traveling and more.” …” But “…the most important thing to her was her family.”

Powers leaves behind her young son, Bennetther husband, Steven Dolland their parents. Her family asks anyone who would like to honor Powers to do so by donating to StacheStrong, a nonprofit organization “dedicated to raising funds and awareness for brain tumor research.” Fans can also plant a tree in her memory.
