Riley Moss will not play for the Broncos on Monday night

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Riley Moss has officially been ruled out for the Denver Broncos’ Monday night game against the Cleveland Browns.

The second-year cornerback didn’t practice at all this week after suffering an MCL injury late in the first half of the Broncos’ 29-19 win in Las Vegas. He was the only Bronco on the 53-player roster who didn’t practice this week.

Veteran Levi Wallace is expected to step in for Moss, as he did last week.

“Levi stepped in and made big plays as well,” said cornerback Pat Surtain II. “I think it just shows how much room we have on defense when we have confidence and veterans like that step in.”

Additional safety PJ Locke: “Levi is a pro, man. We never have to worry about that. He knows the defense like the back of his hand. Of course it sucks if Riley goes down, but I think it’s just that next man up mentality.

“And Levi is the epitome of how he comes to work and doesn’t complain.”

BEYOND RILEY MOSS…

The Broncos haven’t closed the door to the idea of wide receiver Josh Reynolds playing against Cleveland. After a full week of practice, the team listed Reynolds as questionable.

Denver has until Wednesday to decide whether to place Reynolds off injured reserve, as that marks the end of his 21-day practice period.

Quarterback Bo Nix also completed a full practice session for the second day in a row on Saturday.

“I’m good to go, I’m good to go,” Nix said Friday.
