Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, has had another run-in with the law, leading to her third arrest in just three months.

The 27-year-old was taken into custody in Marinette County, Wisconsin, on Monday, November 18, after police stopped a car for loud exhaust fumes.

According to court documents obtained by Us weeklyChelsea, who was a passenger, appeared to have pimple marks on her face. Officers reviewed her information and discovered she was already in custody on drug charges from previous arrests in September and October.

During a search, Chelsea removed a smoking device from her bra, which later tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers also discovered a prescription pill bottle hidden on her person that contained meth, hydrocodone and other controlled substances. She is now charged with several felonies and misdemeanors, including possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.

This latest arrest follows a previous court order requiring Chelsea to “maintain absolute sobriety” while out on bail. She appeared in court via video conference on Monday, December 2nd and remains in custody – her next court date is scheduled for Thursday, December 12th.

Rosie, 62, confirmed the news on Instagram and expressed her sadness over her daughter’s ongoing struggles. “So yes, that’s true,” she wrote on Tuesday, December 3. “After being rescued by her birth mother – Chelsea was arrested again – and facing numerous charges due to her drug addiction – we all hope she is able to get the help she needs to change lives.

“It never helps to bail them out – you did the right thing as a mother Ro♥️ I hope she accepts help so she can be with her wonderful children 🌺Family ♥️,” one person said.

“I’m so sorry this is happening to someone you love. It’s heartbreaking.❤️‍🩹,” another added.

“I wish you all the best during this difficult and challenging time!” chimed in a third.

Rosie adopted Chelsea as a baby in 1997 with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter. The former couple also adopted Parker, 28, Blake, 24, and Vivienne, 21, before splitting in 2007. The comedian later adopted her youngest, Dakota, now 10, with her second wife, Michelle Rounds, who tragically passed away in 2017.
