‘Ruffled Feathers’: Sources believe JT Miller could be available

Former NHL player Paul Bissonnette wondered on a recent edition of the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast whether JT Miller could potentially fit with an Eastern Conference team.

It seems like every year Miller’s name comes up in trade rumors around the National Hockey League, and now more than ever, he doesn’t make sense anymore.

Miller is proving he is worth the contract the Vancouver Canucks gave him and appears to be on track to be an above-points-per-game player for the fourth straight season.

Despite Miller’s successes on the ice in Vancouver, his name continues to crop up in industry rumors, most recently by Bissonnette on the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast.

Paul Bissonnette wonders if JT Miller could fit with Boston

On this week’s edition of the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast, Bissonnette, also known as Biznasty, wondered if Miller was available on the NHL trade market and whether he could be a fit for the Boston Bruins as a first-line center.

The Boston Bruins have struggled this season and don’t have a true No. 1 center on their roster, which is one of the reasons Bissonnette mentioned the Canucks forward as a potential candidate.

Other members of the “Spittin’ Chiclets” crew seemed a bit confused and asked why Vancouver wanted to trade Miller in the first place, to which Bissonnette responded that there were “very ruffled feathers” and that he didn’t see eye to eye with star forward Elias Pettersson.
