Rumor: ‘Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink Is Looking for X-Men Role at Marvel – Comic Book Movies and Superhero Movie News

A current rumor says that “Stranger Things” Sadie Sink could be for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mutants and those X Men have been slowly introduced into the MCU through multiple projects, but are set to play a much larger role in the franchise’s future, with Sink reportedly playing a major role in that.

According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, Sadie Sink could soon make her Marvel debut as the iconic X-Men character Jean Grey.

Sneider shared the rumor in the latest issue of his newsletter. In his report, Sneider stated, “I’ve heard that Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is being sought to play Jean Gray in the Marvel Cinematic Universal.” He also added, “Kevin Feige is planning to introduce a new version of the X-ray soon. Men.”

Sneider claimed that the casting has not yet received an official review from MCU executives. However, he also revealed that the news of Sink’s inclusion came from the same source that informed him about the casting of the upcoming Beatles film six months before the news was officially announced.

Sneider then explained why casting Sadie Sink as Jean Gray makes sense for Marvel Studios. He noted: “Not only does Sink look perfect with Jean Gray with her long red hair, but Stranger Things is also one of the biggest shows in the world.” Additionally, Sink, who will be in high demand in 2025 due to the hit series, will be with will be more willing to accept another long-term contract after the five seasons of Stranger Things conclude next year.
