GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Santa Claus distributes billions of gifts to children around the world, including here in northeast Wisconsin.

Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to conduct a one-on-one interview with reporter Emily Roberts on Christmas Eve.

“It’s an incredible amount of work, but we all work together to get the job done,” Santa said. “Everyone from the elves in the paint shop to the elves in the reindeer stable. Speaking of reindeer: They are also in training all year round. We’re all working together so we can bring all the toys to the boys and girls tonight. It’s my big night!”

The Man in Red said delivering gifts in our area is very special.

“Well, there’s a bit of snow on the roof. Yes, that always helps. But what I really like about the boys and girls here in Northeast Wisconsin is their kind hearts,” Santa said.

“I’m happy to tell you, Miss Emily, that everyone here in northeastern Wisconsin is on the nice people list,” Santa told reporter Emily Roberts. “I think I heard a few sighs from the little boys and girls out there, phew!”
