Scoot Henderson hit a game-winning rebound with a tenth of a second left to give the Portland Trail Blazers a 122-120 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Thursday night.

Henderson’s clutch throw helped Portland win for the second time in 10 games. The Trail Blazers erased a 15-point deficit in the second half.

Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen tied the game by scoring five straight points in the final 40.2 seconds.

Deni Avdija scored 14 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter, Shaedon Sharpe scored 12 of his 27 in the final period and Deandre Ayton finished the Trail Blazers’ comeback win with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Henderson totaled 18 points and 10 assists as the Blazers avenged a 141-99 loss to the visiting Jazz three weeks ago.

Markkanen finished with a team-high 25 points for the Jazz, who finished their road trip with a 2-3 mark.

Collin Sexton added 19 points and 11 assists, Svi Mykhailiuk added 18 points on six three-pointers, Drew Eubanks scored 15 and Johnny Juzang had 14 in the loss.

Avdija had a great performance late in the game, giving Portland a 118-112 lead. He blocked a Jazz shot, grabbed two rebounds and scored two baskets before hitting three free throws in a personal 7-0 run.

Sharpe gave the Blazers a 120-115 lead by making a layup with 51 seconds left, but Markkanen tied the score after making two free throws with 40.2 seconds left and a 3-pointer with 14.1 seconds left. throw.
