It’s hard to score goals when you don’t have the puck, which could be another reason why their goals per game is low as they only win 48.8% of faceoffs, an area in which the Rangers compete 53.7% placed 3rd in the league.

The Rangers appear to be slowly coming out of their panic and have picked up two wins in their last three games after losing five in a row. The Jacob Trouba trade will, in my opinion, be a wake-up call for all Rangers players that even their captain wasn’t safe from a trade, which could lead to them getting a little more energized and energized this afternoon. Despite the midseason slump, the Rangers still rank in the top half of the league in goals, shots on goal, power play percentage, faceoff win percentage and goals allowed, and have the second-best penalty kill in the league.
