See which schools and universities in Erie have canceled Monday classes

These are the latest school delays, closures and other schedule changes for Northwest Pennsylvania for Monday, December 2, 2024, the Erie Times-News reports. Come back for updates.

School closures in Erie County

• Cathedral Preparatory School, Monday

• Charter School of Excellence, closed Tuesday

• Elizabeth Lee Black School, Happy Hearts and Pre-K Counts at Barber National Institute, closed Mondays and Tuesdays

• Mercyhurst Preparatory School, Monday

• Millcreek School District, Monday

• Montessori Regional Charter School, Monday and Tuesday

• Mother Teresa Academy, Monday

• RB Wiley Community Charter School, Tuesday.

Additionally, the General McLane School District will not provide transportation to Barber National Institute or Sarah Reed on Monday, the last day of its Thanksgiving break.

Corry, Fairview, Fort LeBoeuf, Girard, Harbor Creek, Iroquois, Northwestern and Union City Area School Districts are also on scheduled Thanksgiving break Monday.

Behrend, Gannon, Mercyhurst cancel courses

• Penn State Behrend has canceled all classes until 5 a.m. Wednesday. Until then, only employees who provide an essential service should report.

• Gannon University canceled classes on Monday and Tuesday and is expected to resume classes on Wednesday.

• Classes at Mercyhurst University are canceled on Mondays and Tuesdays. The university is not asking anyone to return to campus until conditions are safe and campus has reopened.

• PennWest Edinboro campus operations are suspended and classes will be held remotely on Mondays and Tuesdays.
