Shaboozey, a Grammy nominee for best new artist, also performed “Good News,” which he released in November. It was his first original track since releasing his album in the spring.

When Shaboozey found out about his six Grammy nominations, he described his reaction.

“I am grateful to everyone who ever believed in me and took the risk. For those who took care of me when I needed it most. I am grateful for every sofa I’ve slept on, every no I’ve ever been told, every heartache and tear I’ve shed for achieving my dreams. I’m grateful for everything! I wake up grateful every day. Never give up on your dreams.”

The Virginia native performs in Las Vegas next week before the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami this weekend. His European tour begins in Paris at the beginning of March.
