Ty Dellandrea missed a few games early in the season with an upper-body injury, but he wasn’t a healthy player until tonight.

Carl Grundstrom will return to the Sharks lineup and play on the fourth line with Nico Sturm and Luke Kunin.

“Carl, I think he’s one of our better forecheck players. He’s coming along well, boys. He is physically fit. “Usually he comes to a game without the puck and makes sure he’s responsible defensively,” Warsofsky said. “Our fourth line in particular can’t score. You know, that’s a big key for us.”

Why Dellandrea isn’t there:

“Just a little reboot. I wouldn’t say he plays terribly by any means. I think there are some issues with consistency. He knows that. We talked about it. “I think he’s going to be a really good player for us in the long run,” Warsofsky explained. “I really like him as his character. What he gives to our team, he gives you everything he has. He learns a new one System. So there were some ups and downs in his game, but I think you know that. “I don’t think that’s going to be a long-term thing. Sometimes it’s good for a player to sit up there and see how “It’s starting to look at the game from a different perspective and hopefully that will help him in the long run.”

Dellandrea has one goal and three assists in 29 games this season. He was acquired from the Dallas Stars last offseason.
